My friend Myron

For years I've posted about North America's largest Scandinavian festival, Norsk Hostfest, held right here in Minot ND. One thing I have never mentioned before is prior to the festival is the induction of special people into the Scandinavian American Hall of Fame.

Meet Myron

Myron

Myron is church friend and I'm very happy for him. It was neat to read about his accomplishments in the paper. I knew he was very successful in the restaurant business but I had no idea he was as successful as he is. My hats off to Myron and congrats for making the hall of fame.

A special thank you to the Minot Daily News for publicizing this. There are so many reasons to support your local newspaper and I am very pleased with ours. I highly recommend anyone living in the greater Minot area subscribe to the Minot Daily News.

It's been a perfect day today in Minot with blue skies, temps in the upper 70's, and only an occasional breeze. It was a great day for walks, a visit to the park, or to the zoo. Here are a few of the things I saw along the way including a scary… more

A Walk Along The River

I took a really long walk this evening after eating way, way to much. I've got to learn that Ruby Tuesday's salid bar is enough and not to order a burger with it. I thought I'd share a couple of pictures from the walk with you. As I crossed over the… more
