Minot North Dakota's BEST Mexican Food

Minot North Dakota's BEST Mexican Food

Obviously when we are talking about food personal preference is going to be very biased and when I reveal what I consider to be  the best Mexican food in Minot ND a whole lot of people will disagree. I also want to point out that I am talking food here NOT restaurants! So, my favorite Mexican food can be found at....

Minot's new Taco Johns

OK, I hear some groaning out there BUT this is my absolute favorite place to eat. Forget the $50.00 a plate restaurants with the ambiance for the hoity toitie crowd. Give me Taco John's famous 6 pack and a pound (6 soft shell tacos and a pound of potato Ole's). The location pictured above is Taco John's newest location in town on North Broadway slated to open next week. We currently have 3 locations in town and this new one will replace the current North Broadway location.

I was going to name which Mexican restaurant location I thought had the most ambiance but heck... I don't think any of them do. Of the most popular sit down fancy Mexican restaurants one is like being seated in an auditorium (with some Mexican decor) while being bombarded by several giant TVs all tuned to sports and the other reminds me of a high school cafeteria. So just maybe the new Taco Johns location may top the others for ambiance as well.

Great shout out to the newest Mexican restaurant establishment in Minot North Dakota. I personally prefer establishments that don't have all the hoopla. The food  just seems more authentic.

We have no shortage of authentic Mexican restaurants in Arizona. They are almost all locally and family owned and each have their own menus and recipes handed down to them from generations ago. You should come for a visit this winter and I'll take you to a few.

Never expected this one to be spotlighted.  We don't have your TJ's here in Colorado but everytime my hubby and I drive back to Nebraska, he makes sure to turn in to Taco John's.  He loves it.  Not bad!

Hi Bob "RealMan" Timm , I agree! Forget the $50 a plate restaurants.  A "wet burrito" or a "Speedy Gonzales" works for me.

That is also one of my favorite ones.  I like the price and I do not need the top of the line every time I eat.

William Feela the 1st time I ate a TJ's was when they came to Moorhead MN (sort of my home town) back in the 60's. I've been a loyal fan ever sense.

I too enjoy a good Mexican dinner. It's quick and flavorful and doesn't break the bank.
