Happy Birthday North Dakota!

Happy Bday ND

Happy 126th Birthday North Dakota!

I am so happy to be raising my children in the State of ND where they get to experience the four seasons, the nations lowest unemployment rates (3%) and such a huge abundance of natural resources.

Here are a few interesting tidbits about North Dakota.

ND grows more sunflowers than any State.

ND produces more honey than any other State.

ND carries, and has for years, the highest State budget excess of funds.

Despite being the 2nd biggest oil producer in the US (and growing) agriculture is still the States #1 industry.

Lewis and Clark spent more time in ND than any other place they visited.

Most of the pasta in America comes from ND.

Dakota is the Sioux word for friend.

Happy Birthday to North Dakota, Bob. Love those sunflowers, allergic to honey, had no idea about the "pasta" fact (one of my favorite foods). And never knew what the word Dakota meant, but now I do!

Very interesting facts...I think many people look at it as being baron and little life

Regretfully William Feela it's an easy perception to get when driving through North Dakota when it's snow covered. Also regretfully that is snow covered way to much of the year.
