Old Fashion Fun

Minot for sale

The long weekend has allowed for more family time and for some families I'm sure that's a little awkward. Our family is not a family of TV watchers or video gamers... so what do we do with our time together?

Break out the Monopoly

We set a time limit on the game and it ended about as you see it. Only one person out... but she wasn't out as fast as she may have wanted to be. One game, three winners, not bad.

We also had a good game of Password and Racko. It was a good evening.

Monopoly!   We take that game seriously... play by the rules... no "pot".

It has been years since I played that game.  I remember that it used to go on for days.  (so it seemed)

Good morning Bob.  It has been such  long time since we've played Monopoly. I don't think we have the game board around any longer.

Good morning Bob,

The granddaughter challenged me to a game of chess and quit an hour later.

It is fun to still play games with the family.

Make yourself an astonishing day.

Years ago I bought board games on eBay that I had played as a youngster including Monopoly and The Game of Life. What fun to have others join in!

Hi Bobby Bob "RealMan" Timm It seems we have ALL the board games up on a shelf somewhere. Some of them never opened. It has been a loing tme since I played any of them. I guess I need to move to somewhere like Minot if I really want to get into game playing.

Kids have all the fun.

RealMan - my family used to play board games and cards ... a lot.

There are times when my son and I will play games ... it's great fun and nice to be shut down from technology.

Hi Bob, When our kids were still at home we had game nights. Even when the girls were dating the boyfriends would also play. Those are good memories.

Awesome, Bob! You are the family my teenagers wish they had, lol!  Though they'd have to be much more well behaved and not fight with each other -  that's the part I think they don't get silly kids .....
