Silver Trees, Wordless Wednesday

Silver Trees by Bob Timm

On Monday we got several inches of snow but the temps have been high enough that snow melted on certain surfaces such as these trees but froze again over night SO the result was that this morning the trees reflected the sun and looked like they were made of silver. This phenomenon was not localized to these trees, much of the town looked this way.

The aura of light created by the sun adds a nice accent to the picture, Bob!

So pretty Bob "RealMan" Timm - the sun shining through the trees with all of that snow.

I love the snow scene.  So pretty, but now I would like to see Spring flowers.

Shawn and Angela Miller I was really surprised that the trees glimmered and shined all through town. This is unusual because we have homes in the river valley and on hills. I would have expected it in either place but not both.

I still find it beautiful too Chrissi Chapman Topoleski but I'm also looking forward to it being gone soon.

All that snow fell upon us this Monday Kathleen Daniels and the moisture was really welcome.

You and me both Rebecca Gaujot, Realtor®  but for us in ND it will be at least another month or two before we see anything growing around here.

These pictures are just stunning and magical, Bob. I love winter scenes (you notice I said scenes and not that I love living in winter conditions).

Thanks Nina Hollander , I'm glad to provide the scene, you always provide me with the warmth, BARFF.

Hi Bob

What beautiful trees in the sunlight! But boy doe it look cold to me! LOL. I enjoy these scenes even more now that I don't live with them in the winter!
