WOW! What a GREAT list of things to do on a Friday!
I for one could spend all day rummage sailing and no doubt there will be enough of them to go from dawn to dusk!
If you will not be attending the Minot State University's commencement ceremonies you may want to avoind that area of Broadway. Between the ceremony, rummage sailing, and the Broadway Bridge construction it's going to be a mess!
If you can't make the Shrine Circus today you have another shot at it tomorrow. Circuses are becoming a thing of the past so let your child experience one while they still can.
Gymagic is our local gymnastics group and this event is a great introduction to their program for your child.
If you like visual art you will want to head to CHS SunPrairie for this benefit to help a local dance studio. CHS Sunprairie is an agricultural company and I don't know how they got involved but I'm going just to see their office building which is located next to Kroll's Diner North of Hwy 2 on 13th Street SE.
There's a play! Twelve Angry Jurors is playing at The Arlene. The Arlene was named after a friend of mine, Arlene Saugstad, who would have turned 101 on May 16th (How would I know that? We shared the same birthday except for the year of course.)
If you can sing opera you don't want to miss the auditions at the Western Plains Opera Company.
Last and certainly not least is the hazardous waste collection going on at the City of Minot Public Works building in SE Minot. Here is your chance to get rid of chemicals, old computer equipment, that big old TV and more. Last month I interviewed Dan Reynolds, Superintendent of Sanitation, for the City of Minot and here is a link to the corresponding blog post as well.
Now the challenge is for you to see how much you can fit into your schedule tomorrow. Have Fun!
