Simple Marketing

While I am a licensed Broker Associate with Alliance Real Estate - Minot I am writing this from my new position as Project Coordinator for Tivoli Custom Homes.

I was asked to come up with a literature box flier for the current model home. Two things to keep in mind: 1) Let's not print more then 12 at a time because we hope the home will sell soon (which eliminates a professionally printed flier). 2) I'm not a professional graphic designer and do not own any such type of program. I could work with PrintMaster, Word, Publisher, or Google Docs. I went with Google Docs.

Your constructive criticism is welcome.

9 11th Ave NE MinotThe back side of the flier is a simple MLS generated "fact sheet" on the listing. Thanks

Bob,

I would use less words.  I would start with, "Tired of Cookie Cutter Homes? (big type) .Forget the history of Tivoli homes.  And add your last sentence...flyers need not be cluttered with info.

Perfect! Thank you A. of Ron and Alexandra Seigel . Consider those changes done!

Ho Bob "RealMan" Timm , Here is an example of the style I use. ( I vary the amount of bullet points and images. I like to keep it in a color - I always have the brokerage info and MLS number on the sheet. Feel free to use a template like this - Add your link to the bottom with the MLS info sheet.

This property is already sold. Just an example for you.

This property is sold!

Color does make it snap Sheri Sperry - MCNE® . A lot of the info on the front is on the back of mine so it would be easy to incorporate both your idea and A's from Ron and Alexandra Seigel

A catchy title is a good idea. I use Publisher and also Cloud CMA for designing. Bullet points and limited information are more pleasant to the eye.

Bob,

Congratulations on your new position.  Tivoli Custom Homes is lucky to have you on board.  My only suggestion is to have your flyer double sided, with more pictures on the flip side.

Thanks Debbie Reynolds . I will go check out Cloud CMA. I love Publisher and have used it literally for decades BUT it's frustrating that older projects are not viewable or editable on newer versions (and of course over versions won't play on newer versions of Windows).

Thank you Richard Weeks . This move will allow me to slow down quite a bit. Some health concerns have me dreaming of a full retirement but I know that would drive me crazy in a short amount of time.

BTW the other side is printed with MLS info and pictures.
