Two Days of Rummage and German Food

The church I attend, Our Saviors Lutheran (LC-MS) is holding a two day rummage sale and German food festival. You all know how much I love a rummage sale but being of German decent I'm actually more excited about the food than the rummage (and yet I'm very excited about the rummage sale as well). The cook at our Day Care is very well know for here culinary skills so this ought to a very delicious time.

OCLC Rummage Sale and German FoodThe adult mission trip mentioned is an annual trip to build housing in one of the poorest parts of Mexico. Here is a link to a radio interview I did two years ago about the trip.

Morning Bob.

I was raised on German food Debbie Reynolds and I love it but it does lead to a battle for the waist line.

I hate to say it, Bob, even though I'm of German descent and was born in Germany, I don't ever need to eat German food! Only two things that I like... Schwarzwalder Kirsch Torte and sauerbratten with red cabbage. Haven't been to a rummage sale since the early 1960's at our church in NY, Redeemer Lutheran.

Now this is what's known as a "Win-Win-Win" event Bob "RealMan" Timm a fun rummage sale for the shoppers...delicious food for the eaters...and a worthy cause that will benefit from it all.

I agree Lisa Von Domek . Even though I've backed off on the rummage sales in general I like church ones because of the huge variety of stuff.

Treasure hunting at a rummage sale, and eating German food sounds like a wonderful way to spend some time, Bob!
