Tonights Walk 09/09/2018

This evening I took a walk through the Scandinavian Heritage Park.

This is a very nicely groomed park in the heart of Minot and adjacent to the Visit Minot Center. I usually walk through it a couple of times a year but this was the first, and most likely only, time this year. Here are a few photos I took along the way.

Hi Bob "RealMan" Timm .  I have been to Tivoli Gardens and your photos have a bit of the look.  Love the fishing sign!

Morning Bob.

It appears you were the only one to take advantage of the place.  I wonder, why no one else was there enjoying the walk

Those are amazing scenes of this special spot in your city, Bob!

Good morning, Bob... this looks like a lovely park... no wonder you like your walks there. Thanks for sharing it with us through your pictures.

It's a cute sign Lynnea Miller . I wouldn't fish for lutefisk even if it really did exist.

I was quite surprised as well James Dray . There were about 3 couples total in the time I was there and I believe 2 of the 3 were from Canada.

Thank you Myrl Jeffcoat . I would have taken a couple more pictures but the sun was getting low and not in a good position for the other pictures I would have liked to have taken.

Nina Hollander it would be nice to show you in person some day (some summer day mind you).

Good morning Bob. What a lovely park and your pictures are great. Why only once this year?

That's a good question Sheila Anderson . I guess it's just that it doesn't change much so a couple of times a year to see what flowers they planted may be enough. The entire park is only the equivalent of two City blocks so it's not much of a walk unless you go around it several times.

What a nice walk. It is always wise to have a camera with you to capture the moments.

Good morning Bob.  This looks like a wonderful park to walk through.  I hope you will do it again soon.

It really is a nice place to walk Gabe Sanders  but the entire walk around the park is only about a quarter mile so it goes entirely to fast.

Bob "RealMan" Timm - You have some nice walking places to relax and enjoy the day. Photos are just beautiful!

Enjoy your day!

Thank you Patricia Feager for the compliment on the pics. We do have some beautiful parks in Minot to enjoy. They can be beautiful in the winter months as well but a little harder to get out and enjoy.
