Is This Curb Appeal?

This home is very close to the model home that serves as my office. I've appreciated their "garden yard" all summer and I have to say THIS IS CURB APPEAL!

Curb Appeal in Minot NDI actually walked over just to photograph the maple tree being we have so few trees that have changed to red this fall. I wanted to capture this one while most of the leaves were still attached to the tree.

HI Bob... probably a tad busy for my taste... especially as I don't garden.... I'd be worried about ongoing maintenance and upkeep. But I can see how it would be quite appealing to many.  I do like the violet trim on the house. Can't wait till the tree in front of my house starts changing colors.... but that's at least one month away.

I'm thinking most of the plants are perennials that come back every year because I don't ever remember seeing anyone tending the yard Nina Hollander . That being said someone has to be spending some time out there (maybe it is so busy I just missed the gardner ).

Good afternoon Bob "RealMan" Timm,

I think you were smart to take these photos..great curb appeal and in your part of the country I would think with all the perennial landscaping it would be a plus!

Thanks Dorie Dillard CRS GRI ABR . I'm about to give up on my yard with so many years of drought so the idea of a garden yard is appealing to me more and more.

Bob, I would definitely call this curb appeal; just gorgeous!

Thanks Mike Frazier . I can imagine that home bringing in several more thousands as it is then the same home with an overgrown shabby yard.

Bob,

I am with Nina Hollander !  I would had the trees trimmed better, so that the home is not obscured, but enhances it.  Forgive my critique, I am married to a bonsai master and pruner!  By osmosis I learned a lot.  See you Saturday...

Morning Bob.

My wife would love a yard like that.  Way to many leaves for me.

Endre Barath, Jr. it's a good thing I got that shot yesterday because God fired up his leaf blower this morning with some very strong North winds chilling us to the bone.

Leaves travel James Dray . I can not believe how many oak leaves I get in my yard and the nearest oak tree is about 1,000 feet away.

Bob, it is very pretty, but a tad busy for me too, and maybe for most buyers.   You should be able to see the home, I would think.   I sometimes recommend trimming trees if the home is difficult to see.

I get that Joan Cox , the beauty of the lawn does draw away from the home itself.

I'd say that home has wonderful curb appeal.  And the beauty the tree is presenting this time of year is awesome.

That's how I feel about it to Myrl Jeffcoat .  we probably only have 4 to 6 weeks before everything up here goes white with snow and then we have to look at that for 6 months. I really appreciate the bold splash of color while we have it.

I assume that is a Japanese Maple and regarless it is a very beautiful addtion to the home.

I'm not sure what type of maple it is Joe Pryor but it is the most beautiful tree as far as Fall colors goes that I've seen in town. .

Their yard is a "post card" example of a home with tons of curb appeal.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

It's beautiful, Bob. I'm not sure of the name, but I always called them a "Red Leaf" Maple.
