Alternative Energy Is A Bunch of Hot Air

Man Made Global Warming

Man Made Global WarmingI've always scoffed at the idea of "Man-Made" global warming. The idea of man elevating himself to have the power of God makes me puke.

Knowing that the pollution of one volcano is 100 times greater then all the pollution man has created in his entire existence tells me how silly the argument is for "Man-Made" global warming. However Harvard is now proving that man is causing Global Warming... by using alternative energy in the form for wind generation.

2 degrees According to an AP story in today's newspaper wind generators are causing more global warming than fossil fuel electrical generation. As you can see from the small snippet to the right some areas are already experiencing a 2 degree increase in temperatures due to the "environmentally friendly" alternative energy source of wind generation.

Starting today I'm advocating they cover the State of North Dakota with wind generators! This last week we have had several days of snow with temps as low as 23 degrees and daily highs as low as 40 degrees.

Bring on the "Man Made" global warming!

Good morning Bob. Life is on a pendulum. Those giving it a push are often wrong half the time. Left or right? Enjoy your day!

Norma J. Elkins it's hard to know what to do when the "experts" tell us one thing and then the results tell us another. I am actually a very good steward of earth's resourses. My home and daily life is very green. There are just some aspects of the save the earth movement that go against my biblical principals.

It's been snowing here all morning Sally K. & David L. Hanson . It's also predicted to snow all weekend and into next week. I'm a little worried for Tina as she is driving home tonight for Fall break.

Bob,

This is a subject full of differing opinions.  One of our dearest friends has remarked that global warning occurred several times prior to humanity appearing on the planet?  Who was the cause?  A

Wait - What?  Snow already?  Yikes.  I think you could do with a little warming in your area.

Posted by Belinda Spillman, Colorado Living! (Aspen Lane Real Estate Colorful Colorado) 2 months ago

I think global warming can be caused via nature (volcanic activity for example), and I firmly believe that man can cause it via polution from fossil fuels etc.  I believe the creator hoped man would be a good guardian of the planet.  Unfortunately, I'm guessing the creator is very disappointed with that.

The warm / wet weather is upon us. Those who consider these 500 year patterns as viable can substantiate the cycles through historical data.

Opinons go to both extreems, that's for sure A. Ron and Alexandra Seigel . There is plenty of fossil evidence to prove North Dakota once had a Rain Forrest climate and as you pointed out... there was no man here to cause it.

I'm not liking the snow Belinda Spillman but I like your new picture! Our temps have been about 20 degrees below the norm for this time of year.

Nothing surprises Him Myrl Jeffcoat  and I agree with you that we should/need to be good stewards of what he has given us.

That is true Kevin J. May and I think there are cycles even larger then 500 years as proven by the fossils in our area that prove North Dakota was once aTropical  Rain Forest.

Morning Bob.

Highs for this week low 80's to high 70's.  Snow won't happen until December or January. I see more snow is headed your way.  Frankly, you can have it all, snow that is...

I don't want the snow James Dray .... at least not this early. It makes for a really long winter.

Bob "RealMan" Timm - I think there's too much fake news in the news and people need to do their own research with credible resources.

I am surprised winter has blown in so fast and cold so quickly in ND! Weather patterns have shifted a lot in many states but I don't believe in man-made global warming. However, there are a lot of things humans do to contribute to problems carelessly or by negligence.

I am in total agreement Patricia Feager . Winter is WAY early this year. Looking at the forecast next weeks highs are in the 30's and 40's.

Bob "RealMan" Timm - Be safe! Winter roads are always unpredictable. That's something I learned living in Chicago and moving to Northern, IL Snow is beautiful but driving takes courage.

Hi Bob, I have looked at the NOAA charts and during the Industrial Revolution the U.S. and Europe were burning coal with no end.  I did not see a consequent elevation in temperature.  Europe had a Little Ice Age during the 1600s that was due to changing ocean currents.  It nearly killed everyone due to the extreme cold.  Weather fluctuates to extremes for many reasons.  It may be that there is some temperature warming due to people-made effects.  But the question is: is it us mostly or some other phenomenon going on?  Thx

Cool research John Henry , thanks for the chart.

LOL - I love this post Bob "RealMan" Timm (but I am sorry that it is already so cold by you!).

And I have to say while I don't believe in man-made global warming...I do believe in man-made globabl warning greed  i.e. Al Gore...

Thank you Lisa Von Domek , regretfully it's getting colder and colder quickly. I could use some of that global warming... and Al Gores money.
