I so appreciate your initiative to remove the limitations of interests based on being male or female.  'Real men'and 'real women'  follow their interests wherever they may lead and never allow stereotypical pathways to persuade them...!!  Bravo Bob "RealMan" Timm  !!

Thank you Maria Sapio . I see more and more men involved with quilting at our church and when I view the craft of quilting at the State Fair.

I've seen some really neat creations from men who quilt Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 because of their unique perspective.

Great to hear of these new classes because I can certainly relate to how daunting it would be for a man to show up to a quilting class.  But you know all the ladies would be paying lots of attention to any man showing up!

I think it was Rosy Grier the football player back in the 1990s, who use to be seen doing needlepoint on airplane flights.

Good afternoon Bob "RealMan" Timm - I think this is great.  I want to do whatever I enjoy.  Why not!

Good point Francine Viola . The lessons on the long arm machine are 1 on 1 with the instructor but all the other classes are 3 to 6 people.

Myrl Jeffcoat I did not know that about Rosey and I don't think anyone would give him static about his hobby either.

Bill Roberts we do have long winters BUT quilting is an art and I've seen some real masterpieces. The only sewing I currently do is I learned how to repair my socks as a bachelor. Oh, and like men of the Bible I also fix my tent as needed.

Amen Grant Schneider I don't feel my manhood threatened by picking up a needle and thread.

Bob,

Real men also knit, and I have no problems with anyone doing what appeals to them.  We are all individuals with individual preferences!  Amen.  BTW what is an "unreal" man.  I have not met one yet!  A

That's a fun question A. of Ron and Alexandra Seigel , maybe unreal men are those who have the highest opinion of themselves than anyone else does?

Morning Bob.

To each their own, for me, quilting will not be in the cards.

Posted by James Dray, Exceptional Agents, Outstanding Results (Fathom Realty AR LLC) 4 months ago

I doubt I will pick it up either James Dray but I sure can appreciate the work of those who do.

My husband would not have the interest nor the patience for quilting. I do know some men knit.

I have the patience Debbie Reynolds but I have not yet found the time.
