Tonights Christmas Lights Drive

We took the second half of our Christmas lights tour this evening. Tonight we drove for an hour and a half around North Minot. There were some nice displays but I was a little disapointed that there were no traditional displays with JUST the nativity. Disney and Schults seemed to have made big headway into the Christmas lawn ornament world.

Hello Bob - unless it is a "destination" like an entire neighborhood, finding Christmas displays seems rather limited. Help me before I start saying "back when I was younger".

Looks like you had a lot of places to look at. We did not

I can relate completely Michael Jacobs . The lights were not as elaborate but EVERYBODY had some.

William Feela although we did not leave the city of Minot I know we put on well over 100 miles in the two nights we were out.

The decorations were scattered here but very enjoyable nevertheless. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photographs.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas holiday and blessed new year.

Morning Bob.

Christmas decorations for the outside of homes around here, are difficult to find. At least you did find some

HI Bob "RealMan" Timm - This is a great way to cap off Christmas Day.  We used to do this on some of our Christmases.

Good morning Bob. Living in downtown Chicago has its drawbacks seeing houses lit up with holiday lights. Enjoy our day!

Thank you Joyce Marsh, Daytona Ormond Beach Florida . Even though nothing "Wowed" us we enjoyed the drive.

I didn't really think of it before James Dray but you are correct, fewer people seem to be decorating these days.

We've mad it a tradition Sheri Sperry - MCNE® and I believe it was a tradition in the home I grew up in but those are ancient days I hardly remember.

Wayne Martin I imagine the skyline is always beautiful in Chicago.

Love seeing houses decorated each year, Bob. I just don't personally go there... no patiences to put the lights up and even less to take them down!

Thanks for sharing these photos - there aren't too many homes in my neighborhood that decorated this year (including me!).

Francine Viola I don't decorate either with the exception of a projector that has a single stationery message. It's just to much work!

I really like that house in the second picture.  Nice looking bungalow with great decorating, and a flag waving.  Americana at its best.

Posted by Myrl Jeffcoat, Greater Sacramento Real Estate Agent (GreatWest Realty) 3 months ago

I agree Myrl Jeffcoat , The flag was one of the main reasons I took the picture.
