Meet Savanna Young, Sometimes known as Ace!

Talk about FUN! That's exactly what Savanna and I do (we talk about fun). Just talking to Savanna was a lot of fun. I think it's great that Collegiate Baseball is back in Minot for another year. As a neighbor to Corbett Field I can tell you that it used to be that I'd see about 20 people in the seats at Corbett field UNTIL The Sabre Dogs showed up. Now when the dogs play it's not unusual to see 1,000 people in the stands. What a thrill to see our Historic ball park come back to life! This is the kind of thrill our parents and grand parts got many years ago in Minot ND. This is FAMILY fun! It may be hard to believe but Corbett Field has become "Thee" hot spot for teen as well as the whole family for the summer.

Minot Today is broadcast over two radio stations every Friday. You can find it on 106.9 FM at 12:15 (Noonish) and again at 4:45 on 1320 AM. Of course I always post the broadcast as a Podcast here as well as my Podcast site at Pod-O-Matic.

Wow to have your own baseball field next to your home, how fun would that be, I probably would get a lot less work done....Endre

Morning Bob.

Just not into baseball, even when our kids were playing the game.  However, it is good news to know the game is alive and well in Minot

Enjoy the games and have a wonderful season.

You are lucky to have Corbett Field in your community.

Endre Barath, Jr. Corbett Field is truly a historic ball park and was host to a famous negro leauge, The Mallards, which Satchel Paige pitched for. I love being so close to this stadium that was built in 1935 -36.

James Dray the "show" that this organization puts on is much more like the Ringling Brothers 3 ring circus. If you get bored with everything going on then you can start watching the ball game.

We are really lucky Roy Kelley and The Souris Valley Sabre Dogs have brought new life to what seemed to be a dying tradition.

It has been many years since we attended a baseball game.
