DUCK! As in water foul. I took a brief bicycle ride today before our noon Easter feast and got some very unusual photo shots. The first shot here is not so unusual but it's a pretty good shot of a goose trying to be incognito. What I like about the shot is that both the weeds and the goose are in focus.... this is what makes this shot unusual.
What makes this next shot unusual is the water reflection. As stated all these shots were taken near noon on Easter day. The sky was overcast with rain in the forecast but it was not raining at the time. The ducks pictured below were on the Mouse (Souris) River between the East and West sides of Roosevelt Park. NOTHING was done to modify these pictures other then I added my name to them. Each shot was taken from a distance of about 100 yards with with my Panasonic DMC-FZ70 with the lens fully extended (60X Optical Zoom).
Outer Space Ducks
When I saw this duck (from 100 yards away) I thought "What the Duck!" It appeared to be a billess cyclops duck with one huge eye. I could not figure it out until I got home and could look at these pics. It's mate is pretty cool as well. Again NOTHING has been done to modify these pictures except for me adding my name to them. The water was quite still so what you see is pretty much reflections from clouds and last years weeds on the river bank.
