You are NEVER to old or young to plan ahead.

Dean C. Rubbelke of Edward Jones is one of the many professionals who work in the same Professional Building as I and we visited today about retirement planning.

'm 65 years old so my first question to Dean was how old is to old to financially plan for retirement. Dean, a Financial Advisor, did a wonderful job of explaining why you are never to old to get your financial assets in order.

I believe you will find the next 14 minutes very valuable, I sure did.

Minot Today is broadcast over the air on two Minot radio stations every Friday. You can find it on 106.9 FM at 12:15 (Noonish) and again at 4:45 on 1320 AM. Of course I always post the broadcast as a Podcast here as well as my Podcast site at Pod-O-Matic.

Good morning, Bob.... as with many other things in life, it's never too late to take control of one's finances, one's health, etc.

I learned several things from our conversation Will Hamm but the most important to me was passing on money to the church tax free.

Hello Bob - I will listen later but my first thoughts are not necessarily a question of age but one of  "if" the planning will commence.  Really, there's no time like the present and the "now" that makes it happen.

Your question is an excellent one Michael Jacobs and in my case; YES the planning will continue as long as I am earning mony or just collecting money through Social Security. I hope you find time to listen to the radio broadcast soon.

Financial planning, especially when we are young, provides an opportunity for growth that will allow us to retire better than we might otherwise.  As we get older, maintaining, and not making unwise moves are key to keeping and perhaps even improving our golden years.

Perfectly said Myrl Jeffcoat .

Morning Bob.

I've told our kids, when they first started working, to plan for retirement.  Only one of them took me seriously, he's doing well.

Posted by James Dray, Exceptional Agents, Outstanding Results (Fathom Realty) 6 months ago

I need to remind my kids James Dray . At this point both are very good savers but we've never talked about retirement planning.

Bob "RealMan" Timm - I'll bet you meet a lot of interesting people in the radio business. And I bet everyone knows your name! Retirement sneaks up on people quicker than they think. This is a good message.

It has been a lot of fun Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP . The editing of the shows is a huge pain in the butt however it's all worth it to have the chance to visit with these people.
