FARM RESCUE, Another ND Born Program to be proud of.

I was first introduced to Farm Rescue several years ago by the then known as News Broadcaster Shaun Sipma (now know as Minot's Mayor, Shaun Sipma). KHRT and yours truly, Bob Timm, have had the pleasure of interviewing Mayor Sipma more times then any other news outlet. Shaun and I talk about Farm Rescues birth, mission, and current status as well as mentioning that the North Dakota State Fair Parade will be lead this year by the founder of Farm Rescue, Bill Gross. I hope you will take the time to listen in and learn about this GREAT North Dakotan born mission that has rescued over 600 farming operations since it came into being.

You can learn a lot more about this fine organization here.

Minot Today is broadcast over the air on two Minot radio stations every Friday. You can find it on 106.9 FM at 12:15 (Noonish) and again at 4:45 on 1320 AM. Of course I always post the broadcast as a Podcast here as well as my Podcast site at Pod-O-Matic.

What a great cause, Bob. I learn something new every single day here in the Rain.

It really is a neat operation Nina Hollander and they can also boast that less then 5% of our donations go to administration of the program so more than 95% goes to helping the farmers in need.

Good morning Bob. Something to be said about saving the family farm and needing less than 5% for administration of the program. Something to be learned! Enjoy your day!

I was surprised at the number James Dray as it is a relatively new program.

It certainly is well run Wayne Martin and what a great cause, helping farmers out in times of need.

Good morning Grant Schneider . ND doesn't allow corporate farming so I think this is really cool. All farms in ND are family farms and that is who Farm Rescue helps.

I love the idea of helping the little farmer save their farms.

It is really cool Mike Frazier . If these farmers miss just one planting or harvest it could put them out of business. It's wonderful to see all the volunteers and donors come together to rescue them.
