Bad Things DO Happen To Good People

Unexpected and unfortunate circumstances could have ANYONE scrambling for a bondsman. Do you have any idea where to start? Do you have any idea what bond is all about? Do you have any idea what a bondsman does for you or what your obligations are when using one?

Joe Uzdavinis (Use-da-Venice) is the owner of Minot Bail Bonds and he and his Right-Hand man Dave Ulvog are wonderful Christian men who are dedicated to helping people in their lowest moments facing legal trouble. Their motto and mission is a Bible verse... listen in to find out which one.

Minot Today is broadcast over the air on two Minot radio stations every Friday. You can find it on 106.9 FM at 12:15 (Noonish) and again at 4:45 on 1320 AM. Of course I always post the broadcast as a Podcast here as well as my Podcast site at Pod-O-Matic.

Thanks for telling us about your local bondsman.

Enjoy the holiday weekend.

Thank you Roy Kelley . Meeting these men was a real eye opener to me as I had always thought that Bonds Man worked on the shady side of things. These men are Christians with a real heart/mission to help people in need.

I know very little about bailbonds and the charges/obligations!!!

I have a friend who has a business of bailbonds, seems to be doing well too

Bob, I hope I never need one, but after 16 years doing prison ministry, I know a lot of them in this area. Not all are as good as this crew.

Sham Reddy CRS I'm 65 and this is the first I've taken the time to get to know what bail bonds are all about. Because I decided to stick my neck out for a friend I'm learning a lot about many aspects of the legal system.

Thanks Mike Cooper, GRI my hats off to you for your dedication to prison ministry. I believe this is just the start for me.

I have to admit, that never having had to deal with a bondsman outside of knowing what they do, I know very little about how they do it and where to find a good one. And I hope it stays that way!

Found out a home that had blah blah bonds as lender.

Hello Bob "RealMan" Timm,  it is always good to have a bondsman business card in your wallet if you are young and wild.

Good morning Bob "RealMan" Timm - most of us don't know much asbout this.  I will take a listen.

Good morning, Bob - Things do happen.  And sometimes those things are not so good.  "Be prepared" comes to mind but if those words are truly followed....

I digress.

It's been an experience Nina Hollander . I did this for an acquaintance whom I met 10 years ago and had not seen since. It was a real step of faith being I really did not know the person I bonded out BUT I knew she was a good person 10 years ago.

Interesting Sam Shueh .

This adventure for a friend has been very interesting Will Hamm . I hope I never need one for myself.

Thanks Grant Schneider it means a lot to me that you have been listening to by radio program.

Sounds like something my husband would do, Bob. Me? Not so much. I'm way more cynical.

This is a good topic to share with the rest of Minot, Bob.

This is a position not many people know much about and hope not to have to find out !

Morning Bob.

Interesting, most bail bondsmans around here are out for the money.

Posted by James Dray, Exceptional Agents, Outstanding Results (Fathom Realty) 4 months ago

Thank you Sheri Sperry - MCNE® . Joe, the owner of the company hopes to expand beyond the two ND cities he is currently in and I think if they don't lose their "mission" focus they will continue to do well.

That's for sure Sally K. & David L. Hanson  but at the same time it is good knowledge.

James Dray I believe that to be true in most cases but these men are very genuine. As Joe said in the interview he will go have coffee with people who are feeling overwhelmed by their circumstances and help them in any way he can.

I hope I never need one.  I wouldn't even know where to begin!  But, I often get a kick out of watching Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Posted by Myrl Jeffcoat, Greater Sacramento Real Estate Agent (GreatWest Realty) 4 months ago

Dave mentioned him in the interview Myrl Jeffcoat but as someone who doesn't have cable/satellite TV I had no clue what he was talking about. This is one of those topics I think few law abiding citizens know about but it would be in our own best interests to be aware of how the system works.

I am of the opinion that seldom do bad things happen to good people, but it is better to be prepared just in case you are right BOB:)Endre

You may be right Endre Barath, Jr. as good people shy away from problematic circumstances but like you said it's good to be prepared.
